We’re looking for a Junior Events Apprentice to work with us at our energetic, creative and exciting business. This is a chance of a lifetime opportunity to join a prestigious events business working on some amazing and exciting projects within the industry!

  • Job Title: Junior Events Apprentice

  • Vacancy Location: Victoria House, Whittons Lane, Towcester NN12 6YZ

  • Working Week: Monday to Friday 09.00- 17.00 (37.5 hours per week) in addition to attending and assisting at evening glitzy awards celebrations, around 10 nights a year

  • Annual Wage: £9,750

Your normal day to day duties will include the following:

  • Preparing and sending letters/e-mails to customers.

  • Respond to customer and other organisational enquiries.

  • Making and receiving calls – updating the call log.

  • Assisting with ticket payments.

  • Updating the awards websites and reporting on entries.

  • Assisting with event planning and attending all events.

  • Maintaining the office and storage facility.

  • General office duties such as running errands and taking post.

  • Provide admin support.

  • Provide admin/PA to Event Manager/Director.

Training to be Provided

If successful you will have the opportunity to achieve an Advanced Apprenticeship Level 3 in Business Administration at the workplace. There will be an opportunity to gain excellent work-based training and develop your skills in an office environment with a salary and career development opportunities.

Required Skills

  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy

  • Highly organised and efficient

  • Great written skills and excellent communication skills over the phone

  • Excellent rapport builder

  • Experience using Microsoft office and an understanding of social media

  • GCSE Grade C or Level 4 and above in English and Maths

Preferred Skills

  • Full UK Driving License

  • A keen interest in working in the Events industry

Important Other Information   

You will be required to work around 10 evenings a year in order to attend events, you will be rewarded with time off in lieu to compensate for this.
